Light, proportion and considered junctions
With Carrara, vein direction across adjoining pieces matters as much as colour. Before fabrication we compare the stone with cabinetry, tiles and metal finishes, and agree exposed edges and visible joints.
Fireplace surrounds
Agree proportions, profiles and the pattern across upright and horizontal pieces. Check details next to the firebox against its requirements.
Countertops and window sills
Select the slab area, supports, overhangs and edges. For a kitchen, consider contact with acids and the demands of daily use separately.
Marble in completed work
These are separate works from the approved RoyalStone collection, not photographs of one property. Each image retains its own material attribution and relevant project or service link.
Agree the details before cutting
- A photograph or plan establishes the shape, installation location and initial dimensions.
- A full-slab photograph helps select quieter or more expressive areas of the pattern.
- The drawing fixes joints, edge profiles, cut-outs and support details.

A material price per m² is not a finished-project quotation. Compare proposals using the same dimensions, finish and scope of work.

What to know about care
Marble is sensitive to acids: lemon, vinegar and acidic cleaners can leave dull marks. Use a soft cloth and a neutral stone cleaner; remove spills promptly. An impregnating sealer does not make marble acid-resistant.

Are all Bianco Carrara slabs alike?
No. Background tone, vein density and direction vary. An order is based on an approved slab, not the trade name alone.
Can a washbasin be made to my dimensions?
We review individual geometry against the vanity plan and plumbing models. Feasibility, drainage, fixings and maintenance access are checked before fabrication.
What information is needed for a price?
The item type, approximate dimensions, a photograph or drawing and the installation location. Slab selection then allows us to agree the layout, finish, fabrication and delivery.
Is Carrara suitable for a kitchen?
That depends on how the kitchen is used and the care you are prepared to provide. For intensive use, we compare marble with granite or quartzite rather than promise identical performance from every stone.
