Every countertop is planned around the actual cabinets, appliances and slab pattern. We do not replace a real quotation with a generic price: geometry, material and technical details are confirmed first, followed by a transparent estimate.

Geometry, cut-outs and joints are recorded, with the slab pattern agreed before cutting.

What determines the countertop price?
The estimate depends on the selected slab, material yield, thickness, edge profile, cut-outs, reinforcement, delivery and installation complexity. A precise quotation is prepared from dimensions or an on-site measurement.
Which natural stone is most practical for a kitchen?
Granite and many quartzites perform well under everyday use. Marble offers distinctive veining but requires more attentive care and protection from acids.
When should the final measurement take place?
Final measurement is completed after the cabinets are installed and level, with sink, hob, sockets and joint positions confirmed.
Can the slab pattern be planned before cutting?
Yes. Vein direction, focal areas and joints are agreed before fabrication, with digital layout available for more complex compositions.

Thickness and support
Thickness and construction depend on component size, spans, supports, overhangs, openings and the substrate. A visually deeper edge can be formed with a build-up, but its construction, joint and support should be shown in the drawing rather than improvised after cutting.
Edges, cut-outs and joints
Before fabrication, approve every edge profile, sink, hob, tap, socket, rebate, drainer groove and other cut-out. Joint positions are selected with regard to slab size, pattern, structural requirements and the practical route for transporting and installing the pieces.
Price factors
Price is not based on area alone. It reflects the selected slab and usable yield, pattern layout, thickness, build-ups, edges, cut-outs, reinforcement, upstands or backsplash, measurement, delivery, lifting and installation. Each item should be visible in the quotation.
Preparing for measurement
Before measurement, the kitchen layout should be approved, base cabinets installed and level, and the appliances and sink selected with technical drawings available. Wall and backsplash details, services, access and any decisions that may still change should be identified.
Fabrication, installation and care
After measurement, the drawing and slab layout are approved, then the components are fabricated, inspected and packed in installation order. On site, the base is checked, pieces are installed, agreed joints and sealing are completed, and the care routine is handed over.

Pattern, dimensions, layout direction and component count determine material consumption and remaining offcuts.
Thickness and edge construction
