Before cutting, we define geometry, weight, thickness, fixing method, pattern direction, joints, corners, niches, outlets, lighting and installation sequence.
Substrate and flatness
We check strength, geometry, moisture, allowable load and readiness for adhesive or mechanical installation.
Panel size and weight
Panel dimensions are coordinated with stone thickness, access route, lifting method, installation equipment and wall capacity.
Layout and bookmatch
Axes, vein continuation, mirrored opening, trimming and exposed edges are approved before fabrication.
Fixings and reinforcement
Large or heavy pieces may require mechanical anchors, a subframe, reinforcement and secondary safety elements based on site conditions.
Joints, corners and transitions
We coordinate joint width, internal and external corners and transitions to timber, metal, glass, plaster and adjacent stone.
Niches, TV and services

SITE READINESS
What should be ready for the final survey
Approximate dimensions and a visualisation are enough for an initial estimate. Final measurement is taken when the substrate, finished levels, openings, services and adjacent finishes are stable.
Completed wall geometry
Substrate, corners, niches, columns and openings must be formed and accessible for inspection.
Finished floor and ceiling levels
Actual levels, skirtings, shadow gaps, cornices and ceiling transitions must be known.
Outlets and services
Electrical points, cables, ventilation, plumbing, lighting, access panels and service hatches are recorded.
TV, furniture and equipment
Bracket, appliance, furniture, door, fireplace and other interacting component models are required.
Adjacent finishes
Thicknesses of timber, metal, glass, plaster, tile and other claddings are coordinated.
Delivery and installation area
Vehicle access, lifts, stairs, door openings, unloading space and a safe installation zone are checked.

Can you create a bookmatch composition?
Yes, when suitable consecutive slabs are available. The layout is approved using slab photographs or a digital elevation before cutting.
How are large stone panels fixed?
The method depends on weight, thickness, substrate and height. Adhesive systems, mechanical anchors, subframes, reinforcement or a combined solution may be used after inspection.
Can a television be mounted on a stone wall?
Yes, but the bracket and structural backing must be coordinated before fabrication. The stone should not carry the television load without a designed support system.
Is natural stone suitable for a bathroom wall?
Yes, with the right stone, substrate preparation, waterproofing, adhesive, joints and protective treatment. Wet-area details are coordinated separately.
When should the final survey be taken?
